LORI-LYNN- Founder |
Lori-Lynn has been in the fitness world for over 25 years teaching hooping, aerobics, gymnastic, and bellydancing.
With years of training in gymnastics, karate, kick boxing, and previous dance experience in jazz, Latin and bellydance has helped her create and filter all the best and most effective aspects of each practice. Combining them in the most sought after form of hooping –
HoopAppeal’s Cardio Hoop Fitness, HoopFlow and Kids HoopDance Fitness.
She has always been emphatic about fitness and exercise, but saw that there were so many styles and fads that didn’t suit a majority of the population. Either the equipment needed was too expensive, or the cost and inconvenience of a gym was too much for the average client. Introducing hoop fitness into Canada has changed how people view exercise!
Utilizing her background as a Certified First Responder and training with the Hamilton/Toronto Fire Department and Canadian Naval Reserve taught Lori-Lynn the importance of safety and discipline.

ALECIA-MAY- Fitness Instructor |
Primary instructor of BellyDance, and assistant of Hoop Fitness, Alecia May began her music and dance training at an early age with training in piano, hip hop, ballet and jazz. Her love of dance is far reaching, as she also studies Latin and Hula dance forms.
Background studies in fitness and personal training allow Alecia an informed perspective on the anatomy of movement, around which she designs her teaching of technique. Her nomination for the Women of Distinction Awards in 2005 has truly shown that she continues to empower women through the art of dance, spirit and expression. Alecia-May was enthusiastic about bringing the art of Hula Hooping into the studio, and has seen remarkable changes in students’ bodies and mind. The connection and ability hooping has to impact one’s life, is life changing and magical.
