  1. How can I receive an information package?

    Call us at 905-628-5095, and leave your full mailing address on our machine. We will send you an information package, complete with registration forms, our brochure and business cards. The package usually takes a week to arrive.

  2. I’m interested in booking a private lesson. How do l do this?

    Private lessons are available for all students wishing to gain a one on one experience with any of our teachers. if you would like to book a private lesson, please contact us to arrange a time and date. All private lessons are held outdoors or a private location.
    Rates are as follows:
    - One hour lesson 75.00
    - Series of 4 hour lessons 250.00

  3. l’m interest in booking a workshop, party or performance package how do l do this?

    HoopAppeal is available for workshops, performances and party’s –book in advance to ensure availability. Please call for quotes and further information. 905-628-5095

  4. What if don’t know how to hoop?

    Anyone can attend one of our hooping classes without any prior experience! All fitness levels, and ages are welcome. Our professional HoopAppeal hoops are slighted weighted and sized for the adult and/or kid’s body to ensure fast and easy results! Most students hoop within 1 hour of the FIRST CLASS, -or they have fun trying!

  5. How long are the classes?

    All classes are 1 hour in length unless noted otherwise.

  6. How can l register for a class?

    You can register online at www.hoopappeal.com, or call 905-628-5095. Please note that registration is based on a first come first serve basis. A waiting list will be provided when classes are full to capacity. Minimum of 6 students per class, and maximum 15. Sign-up early to ensure your spot in class.

  7. What if l miss a class?

    There will always be a chance to make up a class during the regular schedule. You may come to any of the other classes during the week. Classes cannot be carried into another session!

  8. Can I make it up?

    Yes! Our schedule is flexible to allow you to come to any of our classes during the week as the same lesson is taught from Monday to Saturday. Please speak to our staff to ensure you are able to do so during our current schedule.

  9. l work shifts and unsure of my schedule. Can l still register?

    Yes, you drop in any class for $20.00!

  10. What do l wear and bring to class?

    You may wear comfortable non-slippery clothing, cotton is best.

  11. Is their a age cutoff for any of the classes?

    Absolutely not ! Anyone may attend any of the classes offered!

  12. Can l try out a class without joining?

    Yes, you may try any Hooping class for a drop in fee of $20.00.

  13. I can’t make one of the classes, but l want to learn?

    If you cannot make one of our classes offered, you may learn with our instructional Cardio Hoop Fitness DVD and a professional HoopAppeal Hoop. Learn at your pace and see and feel the results. The HoopAppeal DVD offers 17 step-by-step instructional hoop moves, proper form, and trouble shooting guidance to help assist the novice to advance hooper.

    HoopAppeals’ motto or slogan is a play on words with respect to the fitness program we have developed based on hooping. We are committed to providing a high quality fitness program that is fun and inexpensive and will become a lifestyle choice to improve whole mind & body health and wellness. We want you to change the way you look at fitness and yourself and do it with fun and flair. Once you learn the basics you can tailor your own fitness program and follow along with our interactive DVD. We want you to turn your life around by getting active in mind and body! You have nothing to lose but the calories! So what are you waiting for?

  16. What is HoopAppeal’s Cardio Hoop Fitness?

    Cardio Hoop Fitness is a low to high intensity cardio workout depending on your specific goals. We emphasize on how to build a lean powerful body through targeted hoop exercises and how the body benefits from each move. Our hoop team incorporates fun, exhilarant, and strategic activities for endurance, coordination, balance, and dexterity.
    With motivational and enthusiastic coaching to lead students into a sweat drenching, fat shredding, total body workout!

  17. What is HoopAppeal HoopFlow?

    We have introduced creative hooping that allows you move with grace, fluidity, and show stopping appeal. It encourages you to bring out your own creative and unique style of movements and dance. Learn a series of basic foundation moves, with the intention of building combinations of hoop moves in and out your hoop. A great mind, body, spirit workout!

  18. What is HoopAppeal Kid’s Hoop Fitness?

    What a great way for children to interact in a community setting that involves fun, exercise, group activities, drama, and dance. You will learn elaborate hooping tricks along with tosses, flips, and jumps to deliver an amazing dance presentation all of their own!

  19. What is an Adult workshop?

    Our adult workshops are 2 - 3 hour hooping sessions, that combined the aspects of 3 one hour classes. In a workshop you will learn the core hooping moves, with warm-up and cool down activities, and get one-on-one instructor coaching to improve your hooping skill, regardless of your current level.   21. Can l teach HoopAppeal’s Cardio Hoop Fitness™, HoopFlow™ or Kid’s Hoop Fitness Classes?

    Absolutely! With the increasing popularity of hoop fitness, now is the time to start a rewarding career in a growing field.   22. Cancellation by Student

    Cancellation of a class must take place 48 hours prior to the first class to receive a refund (less a $15 administration fee). The only exception:
    If a medical condition or injury prevents you from completing your session, we will offer a partial refund based on a doctor's note outlining why the injury/condition affects your participation and the classes left in the set once we are alerted to the condition.

  23. Missed Classes

    You will be honored one makeup class during the session. Classes cannot be carried into another session! Class sessions are non-transferable and non-refundable. Classes are not valid after their expiration date.

  24. Cancellation of Class by the HoopAppeal

    HoopAppeal reserves the right to cancel any class due to low enrolment. Students enrolled will be given the option to transfer the class or receive a refund. Class cancellations due to in climate weather or other events will follow the public school closings and will be posted on the homepage and on the HoopAppeal voicemail (905.628-5095). Cancelled classes will not be rescheduled, unless otherwise noted. Extra make-up classes may be offered.

  25. Substitute Teachers

    HoopAppeal reserves the right to have substitute teachers for classes, at a last minute notice.

  26. Liability

    HoopAppeal is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal property. The location and its teachers are not liable for any injuries sustained during class or on the premises. HoopAppeal reserves the right to bar any person from the class premises based on disruptive or dangerous behavior and/or management discretion.
